Chart fourteen days and look at your own numbers.

You don't have to believe anything I've said. Score two weeks, lay them against your cycle days, and see whether your bad days cluster or scatter.

If they don't cluster, this isn't your mechanism and I'll tell you so. That is a real outcome and it costs you nothing.

The exercise

Ninety seconds a day, for fourteen days.

The read · Keep going

0 of 14 days logged.

Eight days is the least that can say anything at all, and fourteen is what the guide asks for. Ninety seconds a day.

There is no wrong answer to record here. A run of quiet days is data too — it is the contrast that makes a pattern visible.

Pattern-spotting only. This is not a diagnosis, not a food conclusion, and not a statement about your hormones — it tells you when a food result can be trusted.

How to score it

Three rules, and the third one is the hard one.

This is the same instrument the twelve weeks run on. The only difference is that in the program someone reads it with you.

  1. 01

Score the day, not the meal

One number for how your gut was, start to finish. Don't try to attribute it to anything yet — attribution is the thing that has been going wrong.

  2. 02

Write the cycle day beside it

Cycle day 1 is the first day of your period. This is the column nobody has ever asked you to keep, and it is the whole difference.

  3. 03

Look at fourteen days, not three

A fortnight is the shortest window that can show clustering at all. Two full cycles is what actually settles it — this is the look, not the verdict.

And then what

A chart is not a plan. It's the condition a plan needs.

Knowing which weeks your readings can be trusted in doesn't tell you which foods are yours. It tells you when a food test is worth running — which is the step every protocol you've tried skipped.

If the pattern is there and you want it read properly, the fit call is twenty minutes and free. If it isn't there, take the chart to your own physician instead — it's a far better thing to hand over than a memory of a bad month.
